Clint's Reptiles : Ugh, you make me want to go to Costa Rica! I am going somewhere pretty rad soon!
Crispy : WHOA when she found a cane toad my first thought 'oh invasive?' but NO! Costa Rica is their actual home that's crazy! I'm so used to them being the status of invasive species I completely forgot where they are supposed to live.
MOCA4 : You guys have completely changed my pov of snakes in the last year. Although it doesn't help that my family hates them☹️. Keep it up and happy new year!
Rolandbadger : The poison cane toads secrete is actually called Bufotoxin, and its really potent. A purified version is or was used for heart surgery because of how it relaxes vascular muscle.
Imoru100 : Curious thought, whats a funny story you've had where you had to stop and explain to someone that you were looking for animals? I can only imagine getting some stares from other guest, residents etc in some of the various places you've herped.
Finding WILD Invertebrates in Costa Rica!
What's the invert-equivalent to herping? Inverting! Today we bring you along while we go inverting in Costa Rica and find some crazy species in the wild!!

Jess Hyder : I was in Costa Rica and saw you filming with a frog by this little pond located near my room! It was so cool to see how knowledgeable and passionate you are about animals that, frankly, give most people the creeps. I figured you must be a YouTuber, so immediately went to my room and typed “snake facts” into the search bar and found you easily on the first page. Watched a dozen videos that night - such great content! I remember seeing you on the first night I was there walking around “looking for snakes” and wondered what that was all about. Glad I was able to find out! Pura vida!
Hailey Majewski : Your moth is absolutely a hawk moth (Sphingidae)! It looks quite a bit like the Tetrio sphinx, Pseudosphinx tetrio.
Also, the hermit crabs you show are Coenobita compressus (Ecuadorian hermit crab)!
Title by Artist : Thank you for checking back on Jerry/Jeffrey. SO satisfying to see the changes
b : I just realized why I enjoy Emily and Ed while they tell us about the animals around us.
I get some serious Steve Irwin vibes from them and It reminds me from when I was a kid throwing on animal planet to watch his 8am showing.
Kenny Holmes : I believe that what you call "inverting" is more properly known as "Enting", as the name for the study of invertebrates is Entomology, same as how Herping is part of Herpetology.
