1018miamidrive : These tv shows and reviewers by now and then already know Lexus isn’t trying to be a performance brand. It’s truly about reliability and the more horses and performance added you increase issues with the car. Just judge Lexus on Lexus. They always purposely leave out BMW, Audi and Mercedes etc don’t have the reliability and longevity of Lexus. They all still after ALL LEXUS has done refuse to give Lexus full credit for being great and in its own category based on reliability and Luxury. Resale and depreciation tells the truth about what cars best and Lexus still are more pricey in 2020 if you want 2010 BMWs Audi or Mercedes used. Based on reliability issues with ALL European brands . Lexus isn’t trying to do more because they can. They are happy with Serving their customer base. These paid reviewers never honestly criticize the trash cars European makes are long term. Some break within 3-5 years.

Lexus Fraud : Any experience with EXTENDED WARRANTY transfer / credit on LEMON BUYBACK? Lexus is offering buyback for my LS460 F-sport with corrosion problem which was discovered on the day of purchase and it took close to 3 years (12 dealer visits) to see their buyback response. It took me long long time and sleepless nights to get to this point. The dealership that sold me the car gave me 3 year extended warranty as an apology (and yet declined to take the car back) and now the car is NOT SAFE to drive, Lexus accepted to buy back. And I thank Lexus for taking responsibility.

My problem is with the extended warranty that has NEVER been used and service is not even to start until September 2020. Lexus DECLINED to give credit nor transfer to another Lexus when I purchase and I am wondering if anyone had an experience like this. Their claim is that I did not pay for it and the dealership didn't pay for it either. So who paid? Lexus corporate arranged it with the dealership to provide at no cost to the dealership. Would it be fair that I get credit so that I can purchase another extended warranty on next Lexus or at least the corporate allows the transfer to my next Lexus? Can anyone share your thoughts?

1018miamidrive : They stay dissing Lexus! SMH! Motorweek doesn’t reflect the public view, they ignore the reliability issues of BMW & manage to try and still say BMW is better. I’ll understand saying Mercedes is still the best it is but, if BMWs can’t be reliable beyond 80,000 miles they shouldn’t any longer be put ahead of Lexus LS or L version. Only Mercedes can still be said as the best. Lexus IS now #2. The resale of a car says most about it.

Donte Smith : Everyone's comments have convinced me to get a 2010 LS460. im picking it up on Saturday 11/30/19. I hope its as reliable as everyone says. However, I believe it. Toyota has a sound track record of producing good cars with minor issues.
