ᗰ ᗩ ᙭ - ᑌ ᗰ : Microtech fans will gobble this unit up!
Joshua Berry : The time limit isn't because of battery life it is because of heat. There are many ways to combat massive heat buildup from high powered LEDs, and one of the simplest and cheapest is to put a time limit on the 'boost'. Other lights use temperature sensors. Keep in mind the downside of the time limit is that if you are allowed to turn the light off and go right back to boost mode, you can actually damage the light if you keep re-activating boost mode.
AlphaRomeo-OneFive : You're one hard working man Mike. We appreciate you brother
Der Alte : I like the basic idea of a lot of light for a few seconds and 300 lumens is great for urban carry, but i believe they should have put something smaller there as well, like 50 lumens. In any case, a very interesting development from Streamlight.
Joseph Newell : I've been using mine for just under 2 months. I switched from my stiletto after it shattered from a drop. The build quality of the wedge is in my option far better than the stiletto. Battery life is also great, I really enjoy the USB c charging. The only issue I've had with the wedge is the clip. I carry it in my back left pocket and I've had it snag quite a few times and bending the clip out of having proper retention. I never had this issue with my stiletto which I carried daily for over a year. Hopefully they update the clip to be thicker and/or maybe wider.
Tier 1 Concealed Foam Wedge Pack Overview and Sizing Guide
In this video, Trevor discusses an overview of the Tier1 Concealed Wedge pack, as well as a method for determining which size would fit you best. These foam wedges are a quick way to improve the comfort of your EDC holster and also help with concealment. We would definitely recommend giving these a try if you’re looking for a little more comfort and concealment from your holsters.

For The Love of God Podcast : Tier one needs to have better descriptions for all their options, had to watch 40 YouTube videos to order one holster. Thanks for this one!
Eric R : As far as the wedges being single use, you can just attach them temporarily with a little bit of scotch tape just to see how each of them fits for a few minutes of walking around and sitting, but not for a full day of carry, because I don’t that scotch tape will keep the wedges attached for a full day. But you can use scotch tape to try each of them for a few minutes and then once you pick the one you want, then attach it with the permanent adhesive that comes on the wedges.
Doug McHone : I've been making my own wedges using a yoga block and velcro. Materials are under $10 at WalMart and I can make 6-8 wedges from the block. My biggest takeaway has been to make it bigger than I think I'll need, because I can always trim it down. Next, I think of my belt as the fulcrum of a lever with my holster being the lever. I don't want any of the wedge to be at or above the belt line.
I'm sure these are great, but I'm so used to making my own that I would probably go that route. If these were made with the hooks of velcro facing out, I might consider them.
Diesel On Radio : Use command strips on the back of the peel away strip while you’re figuring out your size. Once you decide, peel the factory strip off and make it permanent.
Nick F : I have an axis elite tlr7 mold and it digs into my pelvic area like crazy. I’m going to get the wedges and hopefully that makes a difference!

Matt Page : My grip about the wedge is the length. I wish it was .5-1 inch shorter. Make it the same size as a normal edc knife. I also wish there was a moonlight mode ( half to 1 lumen). Having some light that doesn't blow out your night vision is key for me.
Larry Clark : I was almost ready to buy one of these, but the fatal flaw for me was the exposed USB C port. In the carry position that port is always exposed and, as we all know, gravity always wins. Anything you might encounter in any environment you're in might find its way down into that port. And since this is a sealed unit, when the port goes, the flashlight goes. I'd suck up another 4-6mm overall length for the addition of a sliding cover, as fiddly as that might be. Someone will probably come up with rubber tail cap, but until then...
And as lovely as it looks, those nice smooth anodized surfaces are going to attract scratches and wear. This could have been made in plastic.
L Fork : I appreciate this review! I’m not super concerned about my ability to use the flashlight with a firearm, so I’m excited to see this is exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks!
Zach 92 : 1. Love how you open every video.
2. No tailpiece IS a deal breaker.
3. I prefer battery operated. When a flashlight I paid 80.00 for stops recharging... I know, batteries get expensive...
