ABH 0370 Center Hung Pivot Set

This video is to bring you a closer look at the ABH 0370 Center Hung Pivot Set. The ABH 0370 is a typical pivot set that is for most doors and is comprised of several components. The floor portion that is a stainless steel finish will come with screws and flat head screws with the same finish. Also, a bottom arm for the door that will go together with the floor portion. Then you will have the frame portion, and the door portion that go together as well. The piece is also mortised with a decorative finish for the top. You can turn the ball to see the pin go up in the housing by turning it clockwise. Extended top pins are available for high doors, tall doors, and even doors in an earthquake environment. This is important if you have a very thick floor. Available in different finishes with screws included. The included template will be included with dimensions of the pieces. The verticle access of pivoting needs to be 2 inch based on the reference to the paperwork instructions requiring a radius on the base of the door. Your door thickness could not exceed your radius of 1-7/8 inch max. The installation instructions show the opposite end of the door square. 1-7/8 inch maximum radius for 1-3/8 inch door. This is not intended for an 1-3/8 inch door and the plate is 1-1/4 inch leaving you 1/4 inch to mortise. A very nice piece of hardware for exterior days and hefty duty projects. Bookcases are very common when hanging these. There is a reference to a left hand as well and this is a made to make order so please allow proper time to order.
