BMW 7 Series review! The E65 and E66 BMW 7 Series is the most controversial BMW ever made. Today I'm reviewing the V12-powered BMW 760Li, and I'm going to show you all the quirks and features of this wildly controversial BMW -- and I'll show you why it was such a big deal back when it came out. I'll also drive the E66 760Li to show you what it's like on the road.

Llamanator1 : I actually like the Bangle design with hindsight. The Bangle designed 6 series is one of my favourite modern BMWs, especially as an M6. However, the interior design of this 7 series has not aged well. So much plastic everywhere and the glossy wood cheapens it immensely. Think it’s taken a lot of time for BMW to improve their interiors to their current level of quality.
Ziggy Z : i gotta say they certainly made it look futuristic, that doesn't even look like a design made in the early 2000s, it looks more like 2010-2015
Partaap Gosal : Although controversial, this car technology wise was ahead of its time. So many of these new features are now standard in our modern cars almost 20 years later
JS75 : My father was fortunate enough to make some extra money in 2003 and he was so excited about hunting for a large sedan he always wanted. Brought back good memories of helping him look, this, the S-Class, and the A8 L. He ended up with the A8 L as it featured a lot of the same features but came in at a lower price, and oh boy it was so cool. I wasn’t very old and I’ll never forget the size of that backseat and the amazement when I saw things like heated rear seats and a mirror for the backseat as well. What a great little time trip back to some fun memories. And some less so, like him putting 80k miles on a $80k car from 2004-08 and selling it for $22k. Or the hilarious electric issues he got like the car sitting there completely turned off, empty and randomly turning the radio on at full blast. He went away from the German cars after that and drives a Toyota now after having his fun and then wanting something rock solid. But wow what a trip back! Thanks Doug.

E 7시리즈도 옵션이 있을 게 다 있군요..거의 20년 전에 저런 자동차를 만들었다는 것을 생각하면 정말 대단합니다.
수입차가 거의 없었던 2000년대 초반 당시는 7시리즈/S클래스는 정말 부자들만이 탈 수 있는 차였는데..당시(2002년) 7시리즈는 그저 바라만 보면서 생애 첫 차 투스카니로 다녔습니다. ㅋㅋ
저는 다음세대 모델인 F시리즈 745Li를 탔었는데 정말 만족스러웠습니다.
부드럽고 묵직하지만 스포츠모드로 놓고 운전하면 강렬한 가속감 예술이죠. 뒷좌석 편안함과 럭셔리함 최고!
전 개인적으로 현 7시리즈 디자인이 가장 좋습니다. 열심히 지를 준비를 하고 있습니다~

엔그르engr : 유익하고 좋은 영상 정말 감사합니다. 트렁크 디자인이 너무 파격적이라 뱅글버트라고 놀림 당하던 차였지만 이후 제네시스BH 뿐만 아니라 모든 차들이 E65 트렁크 디자인을 참조 했다고 카더라로 들은적이 있습니다. 그만큼 앞서나간 디자인이었나 생각도 드네요. 근데 개인적으로는 후기형 디자인이 좋습니다^^;

분당개미 : 2000년도 초반에 롤스로이스나 벤틀리가 흔치 않을때 이 차가(구형7) 지나가면 웅장하니 바닥에 붙어가는 느낌에 존재감이 장난 아니었죠 ㅋㅋ고속도로에서 알피나 튜닝되어 나온 7시리즈에 칼치기 당한게 생각나네요 ㅎㅎ
메쏘 : 와 진짜 가격 대박이네요...만약 수리비가 많이 안들고 연비만 좀 좋다면 진짜 잼있게 타고다닐듯
국산 준중형만 타보고 유류비가 적게드는 수입차C클로 넘어왔는데 아직까진 정말 만족중이예요
메인터넌스비용은 잘 몰라서 초반에 많이 들어가긴했는데 이제는 좀 저렴하게 할수있는곳도 찾아가보고있어요
수입차가 가진 감성이나 성능이 분명 좋은점도 있는듯

J B : E65/66 have some awkward looking angles, yes, but they just have so much street presence.
When you see them IRL, they look like presidential transport - much more so than the newer 7ers, and also much more so than S Class and A8.
