Rasmus Toft : I’m currently on my 4th pair of GT2000. Every time I switch to a different, more high end, shoe, I end up getting the same annoying, painful knee injury that takes me months to get over.
Therefore the GT2000 will always be my favorite running shoe, since it seems to be the shoe that actually allows me to run and do what I love.
I hope they will one day make a mix of a Novablast and a stability shoe
robciervo : I’ve been running in the GT 2000 for almost 10 years now. Switched this year to try the Novablast on your recommendations, but had to go back to a new pair of GT 2000. The Novablast was just too much stack height for me and not enough stability. I actually developed a Morton’s neuroma in my foot too.

Just a little suggestion for your consideration. On your 'other shoes to buy page', I understand it is ranked from the most preferred shoes from the top to the bottom. You may like to slot in a line (can be in smaller font) of where the shoes you are reviewing into the line up so we will know where it stands, compared to the others.

Shaun Frandsen : There’s going to be a few little tweaks to the Mach 5 but pretty much the same silhouette (kind of like the change between the Clifton 7 and 8). I tried on the Rebel v3 and noticed right away that the foam was a smidge denser. And the lateral side bumper is reduced a lot. I’m most concerned about this shoe. I saw a photo of the Novablast 3 and it looks awesome. Can’t wait!

Asics GT 2000 9 Review - Stable, Comfortable... Lacking WOW
Like the ASICS Kayano, the ASICS GT-2000 has been a mainstay in the stability running field. I remember running in them when they would count by 10 with every new edition. The last version of that was 2160.
So if my math is correct it would make the GT-2000 9 the 25th edition of one of ASICS cornerstone stability offerings.
What do you do to an established stability trainer to keep it relevant and make it better?
