Zinc Patriot : Changed from a defender to a freelander six years ago. Loved my defender, but the other half got the hump with the erm, ‘firm’ ride, and as we do a fair few miles, decided to go for the brownie points, and on reflection, was one of the best decisions I ever made. The freelander does everything well in my opinion, looking to keep her going as long as possible.
Wiskey Diamond : We have had our freelander 2 for 12 years.. now 217. 000 miles on clock with no major issues.. great and ultra reliable car.. ours is 2.2 td4 ...
Cnehuvjwkkc Smhcjencnf : Just bought a 2008 XS with arm rests and leather interior, I have gone through at least 40 cars in ten years searching for the perfect one, so far my fave was my 2008 Saab 93 1.9tid and was gutted when it died. But now the Freelander has been placed into the top spot of being the best car I’ve owned, it’s absolutely lovely to drive, great in the snow with some winter tyres and MPG which is decent. I’d rate the Freelander 4/5 overall.
Viking 666 : Partly because of this review I bought a 2013 FL2. It's a GS but has loads of extra add ons its higher spec than the XS. Had it 4 months now and absolutely love it. Awesome videos, keep up the great work.
Jon Gilbert : We love our FL2. It's a great all rounder and to add to this video review, it also performs admirably in snow and on ice. My only ever criticisms of the car are the boot space (which is only really an issue when going on holiday - a roof box can solve this as well as utilising the under boot floor space) and the service costs if you use the main dealer. Once out of warranty, it becomes a much less expensive car to keep.
